Needlepoint Beginner's Class

This beginner's class is perfect for those who have never stitched before as well as those who are looking for a complete refresher. You will learn basic needlepoint skills including: How to thread your needle; how to start a project using a waste knot; how to use and install stretcher bars and both the basketweave and continental stitch.

We will be learning the basics while stitching a MF Needlepoint mini canvas using a variety of threads. Class includes 3 hours of instruction, a handpainted canvas, needle & threader, scissors, threads needed to complete the project and stretcher bars.

Canvas design is first come first served when you arrive for class, or you may email us with your preference at forestacresneedlepoint@gmail.com.
Canvas options are as follows: strawberry, olive, lemon, heart, tomato, watermelon, orange, peach, paddle.
