Learn the basics of needlepoint!

Learn the basics of cording as well as some tips and tricks...including adding decorative threads to your cording, making 2-4 color cording, and additional ways to make loops and knots. We'll talk through using both the Kreinik corder and the Lacis corder.

Join us to learn the basics of finishing a canvas into an ornament! Please come with a stitched round canvas (no larger than 5"), backing fabric (at least 8"x8") and 2 uncut skeins of coordinating DMC size 5 pearl cotton to make your cording. Your piece must be blocked prior to class. All other supplies will be provided. By the end of class you should leave with a finished ornament, and the knowledge to self-finish more ornaments on your own!
